The 19 Best Huntington Beach Restaurants:
mom is on 39
Mama's On 39 is one of the best restaurants in Huntington Beach, and for good reason.
The food here is American comfort food and this is the kind of restaurant where you can always be 100% sure that whatever you order, whether it's an omelet, French toast, burger, salad or sandwich, the food will always be terrific.
I love breakfasts, specifically the Lumberjack Breakfast, which comes with ham steak, bacon, sausage, two fried eggs, and two pancakes. A nap is definitely needed after consuming such a meal.
They have a full bar if you want to drink and dddddddd they also have a Thrifty ice cream station inside! You can watch them use the cylindrical scoop to dig up the ice cream. There is nothing better than this!

TK Burger is a city institution and a burger joint that needs no introduction. When you ask any Huntington Beach location where they can get a solid burger, 95% of those surveyed will say TK Burger.
TK Burger makes one of thebest burgers in orange county.
Before going to TK Burger for the first time, I had some doubts about the legitimacy of their burger. He seemed too simple to make such a fuss. There is nothing fancy about it. There are no truffles, elaborate cheeses or dark dressings. It looked like a simple backyard barbecue burger your uncles cook up on Labor Day weekend.
Boy was I wrong. The first bite made me see the light! It absolutely lived up to the hype and it was only then that I realized that a TK burger doesn't need anything fancy to make it good. It is simply a very well made and very tasty burger that reveals its simplicity.
Oh, and you can get a TK burger and fries for under $10.

Beale's Texas Barbacoa
Put Beale's on your itinerary if you want to try the best steakhouse in Huntington Beach.
Beale's story begins in owner Brett Beale's backyard, where he used to cook for friends and family, who often encouraged him to open his own restaurant. Though reluctant at first, Beale began to come up with the idea after competing in barbecue competitions in Texas.
His restaurant came to fruition in 2015 in Fontana and then in 2020 in Huntington Beach.
So how's the food? Fan-damn-tastic! The grill is competition grade and is constantly being refined to get as close to perfection as possible. It took Beale two years to perfect his 24-hour smoked brisket, resulting in some of the most perfectly flavored brisket we've ever eaten.

ROL Manual Scroll Bar
ROL Hand Roll Bar is the sister restaurant to Vox Kitchen, Sup Noodle Bar, Nep Cafe and Gem Dining and many other restaurants in the Kei Concepts group. And if you have been to any of their restaurants, you know that they are pushing the boundaries of Asian cuisine.
ROL is strictly dedicated to perfecting the sushi roll and they are doing a great job. I have had the opportunity to eat here several times and have always had a stellar experience.
All the rolls are unbelievably delicious and are the perfect combination of rice, sushi and add-ons.
You can order individual rolls or from a preset menu, with options of 5, 6, and 7 rolls. They have many appetizers to warm the palate and their craft cocktails make this place a wonderful dining experience.
Without a doubt, ROL easily places on our list of the best restaurants in Huntington Beach.

Located next to the Huntington Beach Pier, Dukes not only offers stunning views of the beach, but also serves some of the best seafood in Huntington Beach.
On the menu you'll find items like coconut shrimp, herb-crusted mahi mahi, lobster, fish and chips, burgers and more.
See how you can have the perfect Dukes experience. Come before sunset. Sit on the patio, order a cocktail, some appetizers, and food. Then, watch the sunset quietly in the distance as you sip your drink and enjoy your meal. After enjoying your meal and reflecting on life, hop on the Hula Pie for dessert, it will blow your mind!
Dukes is one of the best restaurants in Huntington Beach and offers oceanfront dining.

It's not hard to argue that Da Hawaiian Kitchen is the best Hawaiian restaurant in Huntington Beach and possibly all of Orange County.
The food here is super authentic and tasty and could definitely hold its own on Ilha Grande.
Here you'll find all your Hawaiian favorites including Loco Moco, Kalua Pork, Poke, Kalbi Ribs, Lomi Salmon, and Teriyaki Chicken.
They also have a signature fried chicken that is extremely delicious. The skin is super crispy and the meat is moist and tender. Pair it with rice and pasta salad and you have a delicious meal worth telling all your friends about.

Extraordinary Subculture Sandwiches
Subculture sandwiches are the name of the game at Subculture and they are creating some seriously amazing hoagies that will delight your taste buds!
These sandwiches will blow anything Jersey Mikes or Firehouse Subs serve up out of the water.
I have two favorite submarines. The Club, which is stuffed with turkey, ham, avocado, bacon, cheddar cheese and sandwiched between crusty baked Dutch bread. If you've never eaten crispy Dutch, you'll be delighted!
Also the Madrinha, which rivals the Bay Cities Deli's Madrinha. It looks great with salami, ham, pepperoni, provolone, pesto, and sundried tomatoes. One bite of this and you'll understand why this is one of the best restaurants in Huntington Beach.

hello mexican cuisine
With spectacular views of the beach and boardwalk, amazing food, drinks and atmosphere, Ola Mexican Kitchen has everything you need to have a memorable Huntington Beach lunch or dinner.
You'll find classic Mexican food with items like tacos, burritos, carnitas, fajitas, and enchiladas on the menu.
Here's my recommendation: order a refreshing margarita with guacamole and chips. When you're ready for the main course, grab the carnitas platter or the 3 taco platter with pork belly, chicken tinga, and chile relleno. And if you somehow have room in the tank, order the caramel-filled churros with vanilla ice cream. This is a successful recipe!

50/50 the Slater
Slater's 50/50 is our favorite place among other Huntington Beach restaurants to enjoy! Don't come here if you are looking for something healthy.
Slater's is known for their 50/50 burger, made with 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef, which really sets the tone for the rest of the menu.
A menu that includes things like Pork-a-Palooza, a bacon prepared 5 different ways, including Crispy Pork Belly with Bacon Jalapeño Jam and Bacon Salt & Vinegar Rinds.
Other things you'll find on the menu include: Bacon Macaroni and Cheese Patties, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Bacon Spaghetti and Meatballs, and many varieties of artery-clogging burgers, including the Peanut Butter Jelly, which consists of on angus beef, sliced. bacon, peanut butter, strawberry jam, and of course, a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Be sure to schedule a nap afterwards, you'll need it.

Located inside the Pacific City shopping complex and tucked away behind the Blue Gold restaurant in a speakeasy-like space, LSXO is pushing the boundaries of Vietnamese cuisine with its modern approach to cooking Vietnamese classics.
Having trouble navigating the menu? Here are some suggestions you can't go wrong with.
Definitely try the Tom Rang Thit Ba Chi, caramelized prawns with spare ribs and rice. This dish is full of flavor and is a favorite among customers. Another unmissable dish is Shaky Shaky Beef, the filet mignon cubes are perfect marinated and cooked and served with fried rice.
21022-21148 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92648
Do you like seafood? Hop in your car and drive over to Market Broiler, one of our favorite Huntington Beach restaurants. They have seafood to satisfy your aquatic cravings and
Their menu has everything and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING! Oysters, poke, crab cakes, shrimp, mussels, swordfish, sea bass, steaks, fish and chips, burgers, salads and more!
My favorite thing to order is the fisherman's stew. It comes with a little bit of everything: lobster, shrimp, scallops, crab, clams, calamari, mussels, and fish fillets and is served with garlic bread for dipping.
Their drinks menu is equally impressive, with a great selection of craft cocktails, craft beers, and fine wines.
Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. m. to 6:30 p.m. m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. m. to 5 p.m. where you can get great deals on appetizers, entrees, beer, wine, and other cocktails.
Tacos do Sancho
If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant located right next to the beach, Sancho's Tacos is the place that not only has great views, but serves the best Mexican food in Huntington Beach.
I didn't eat everything on the menu, but I did try a significant amount and can confidently suggest some impossible-to-refuse items.
1) Breakfast Burrito - It's hard to go wrong with this one. The burrito is filled with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and sausage or bacon…or both!
2) Carnitas Grande Qusadilla – A huge quesadilla stuffed with cheese and bony falling carnitas. Nuff said.
3) NotCho Fries - This is their version of roast beef fries and it does not disappoint. It's a gooey, cheesy, meaty, potato-fry-filled affair.
4) Any Taco - All tacos are great. Skrimp and Federale are my favourites.

North Shore Thrust
There are plenty of places to poke in and around Huntington Beach, but none does it better than North Shore Poke. This place serves poke just like they do in Ilha Grande and it's amazing!
Located in downtown Huntington Beach, the concept here is similar to many other build-your-own-bowl places from scratch. There is no wrong way to do this. All roads lead to a mix of delights.
They also have sandwiches, tacos, and nachos if you're not in the mood for poke.
Apart from the fact that the food is delicious, another strong point of North Shore Poke is that it is only a 5 minute walk from the beach. You can order your bowl, take a walk down the street and enjoy your bowl, while listening to the waves crashing against the tide.

Ask any local what the best Italian restaurant in Huntington Beach is and 9/10 people will confidently say Romano Cucina.
The restaurant prides itself on its authentic Italian home cooking and really delivers on all counts. Whatever you order, be it pizza, sphaghetti, lasagna or shrimp scampi, you can always be 100% sure that the food will always exceed your expectations. That's how it is at Romano Cucina. There is nothing on the menu that is not worth ordering.
Save room for dessert because the spumoni and cannoli are out of this world! And yes, take both!

secret coffee place
Secret Spot is not that secret among the locals and is one of the best places to eat in Huntington Beach for a clean and healthy meal. In fact, it is a well-known place and also very friendly for vegetarians and vegans, with many options available for them.
The menu has a wide mix of breakfast and lunch selections including: breakfast burritos, scrambles, pancakes, sandwiches, soups, salads, burritos, and tacos.
You can't go wrong with the vegan breakfast burrito, which consists of grilled onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, potatoes, avocado, and wrapped comfortably in a tomato tortilla.
Everything is reasonably priced and one thing I love about this restaurant is that I always leave satisfied and happy knowing that I provided my body with a healthy source of nutrients that day.
17200 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92649
BUNZ should definitely get the top spot for best burger restaurant in Huntington Beach. Made it to our listbest burgers in orange county.
What I love about BUNZ is that you can walk away with a prime burger, fries and a drink for around $10, unlike other restaurants, *cough Five Guys* where it costs an arm and a leg to get a sub. product.
If you're in no doubt about your health, order the pastrami cheeseburger, throw in an egg, and order a side of crispy onion rings. Wash it all down with an oreo shake and say goodnight for a few hours because you're going to need a nap after this kind of decadence.
7491 Center Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA 92647
Your search for the best sushi restaurant in Huntington Beach may end at Matsu.
Mastu has been around for over 4 decades and has never wavered in its commitment to provide the community with high quality Japanese food and sushi at a fair price.
They offer an extensive menu offering sushi, sashimi, rolls, tempura, teppanyaki, teriyaki, and more. It will be hard to find something on the menu that you don't like.
Our favorite experience is sitting at the bar and letting the chef guide you through an incredible mix of flavors.

Sandy Beach Cabin
One restaurant that we ALL agree should be in our guide to the best restaurants in Huntington Beach is Sandy's Beach Shack.
Located right on the beach and right next to the Huntington Beach Pier, Sandy's is a great restaurant to satisfy your cravings after a fruitful day of surfing, sunbathing all day, or biking on the boardwalk.
Not only do they offer incredible views, but the food is truly top notch. The menu is seafood-based with options like ceviche, shrimp cocktail, calamari, fish and chips, mahi tacos, and a variety of burgers.
They also have an extensive drinks menu with cocktails, Bloody Marys, wines, cavas and beers of all kinds.
315 Pacific Coast Hwy Huntington Beach, CA 92648
It's not hard to argue that Black Trumpet is the best tapas restaurant in Huntington Beach and possibly one of the best in Orange County.
They specialize in Mediterranean tapas, where you will find French, Spanish, Greek and Moroccan flavors in their dishes.
Some standouts on the menu include spanakopita, risotto, baked brie, tuna tartare, paella, and brussels sprouts with chorizo.
They also have an extensive wine list, craft cocktails, and beers that pair beautifully with all the wonderful food you'll be eating.
The atmosphere is dark and romantic and it is the perfect place to get to know someone better.
